Declaration on the duty to inform
The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (DPRD, 2003 Telecommunications Act). In this data protection notice we wish to inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.
On our website we inform customers and interested parties about our products and our company, as well as about general forestry topics. Personal data is only collected if you voluntarily provide it to us within the scope of a catalogue/newsletter order or inquiry.
The data of customers and interested parties from Germany is also used by our subsidiary, LIECO Deutschland GmbH & Co KG, within the scope of this data protection notice.
Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your terminal device with the help of the browser. They are harmless. We use so-called „session cookies“ to provide our offers in a user-friendly manner. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit and when you close your browser.
If you do not wish this, you can set your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases.
If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted.
Web analysis
When calling up our website, a standard entry is made in the log file of the web server, which is technically necessary to maintain operation. The logfiles are analyzed non-publicly and without inference to persons with Webalizer (http://www.webalizer.org) to evaluate the performance of the site.
YouTube
YouTube videos stored on www.youtube.com are integrated into the website and can therefore be played on the website. YouTube is operated by Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The videos are integrated into the website in such a way that no data is transferred from you as a user to YouTube if you are not actively playing the videos. If you actively click on the video, data will be transmitted to Google Inc.
For you as a user, it makes a difference whether you are logged into your Google account or not. If you are not signed into a Google account, Google Inc. stores data with unique identifiers associated with the browser, website or device you are using. This allows Google Inc., for example, to ensure that the language settings are retained for all browser sessions. If you are logged into a Google account, Google Inc. also collects data that is stored in your Google account and is considered personal data.
Contact with us
If you contact us via the contact form on the website or via e-mail, the data you provide will be used to process your enquiry and, in the event of follow-up questions, will be stored for as long as is necessary to deal with the enquiry and beyond that for as long as there are legal storage obligations. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
You have provided us with data about yourself voluntarily and we process this data on the basis of your consent for the following purposes: dispatch of newsletter, sending catalogues, information about products, submitting offers, answering questions.
You can revoke these consents at any time. A revocation has the consequence that we do not process your data from this point on for the purposes mentioned above. If you wish to revoke your consent, please contact: sekretariat@lieco.at
Newsletter
You have the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this we need your name, your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. Once you have subscribed to the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your subscription. Your name and e-mail address will be forwarded to the privacy certified newsletter software Sendinblue for technical dispatch.
You can cancel your newsletter subscription at any time – either by clicking on the unsubscribe button on the website or by sending an e-mail to: sekretariat@lieco.at. We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch.
Customer data
If you order products from us, the data voluntarily provided by you will be processed for the purpose of sending and billing the products. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you.
We reserve the right to send you our product catalogue with the latest information in subsequent years. The data required for postal dispatch is passed on to printers for processing. You can revoke these deliveries at any time.
If necessary, we process your personal data for the duration of the entire business relationship as well as for the duration of statutory retention periods.
Your rights
In principle, you are entitled to the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your claims under the data protection laws have otherwise been violated in any way, you have the opportunity to complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
