Contract- and order production

Do you have acknowledged seeds from your valuable seed stands according to the Forest Reproductive Law? In that case we’d like to offer you to produce your seedlings. We can also offer a contract production for seedlings from not acknowledged seeds, if there is an interest.

Please contact us if you are interested in such an agreement. You can also ask for your favoured provenance and we’ll get the seeds for you (buying or harvesting them), if available.

Order and Delivery

Order – Pre-Order

We appreciate very much the personal contact to our customers and we offer professional advice. Our team is available for your questions. In our current catalogue you find all the important information about successful re-/afforestation and our products.

Delivery

The delivery primarily takes place in our container trays in order to prevent dehydration and root damages.
We inform you about the freight charges on request.

Please contact our logistic department in Kalwang in time (email: kalwang@lieco.at or phone: +43 3846 8693-0) – so that we are able to arrange the delivery and terms.
Well planned delivery dates allow you to prepare your team for the unloading.

Pickup by the customer ex nursery

Take the advantage of getting a better price and collect the seedlings by yourself from our nurseries Kalwang or Sankt Martin. We kindly ask you to fix your date in advance, so we can prepare your ordered seedlings in time.

  • Please protect your seedlings against wind when driving, to avoid dehydration
  • Required space for 200 seedlings: 1 m²
  • The best way of transporting your seedlings is to leave them in the container trays from our nurseries to your planting site

Friday 7 am to 1 pm or on agreement

Re-usable container trays

Please don’t throw away the empty container trays – they are refilled up to 15 years lifetime. Our logistic department will organise details for returning or collecting them.

Hollow planting spade

LIECO Hohlspaten

Tools for preparing the planting site (removing the raw humus layer) as well as tools for cutting the planting hole. This special spade treats your back and your joints with care. It is acknowledged with care.

Certification systems in Germany:

The ZÜF-system for forest seedlings with a testable provenance is primarily based on reference samples, those who are gained during seed harvest or other important production steps.

The FfV-certification-scheme has been invented by ISOGEN and the „Verein Forum forstliches Vermehrungsgut e.V.“ and it is supported by them. FfV sets standards for the certification scheme. It is approved by PEFC.

We charge an higher price for ZüF and FfV seedlings (+ VAT). On request our team provides you with information which tree species and provenances are certified.
